Plymouth Colony

My project was on Plymouth colony. I chose to do a keynote presentation. I talked about how the Pilgrims decided to leave England because they were unable to practice their religion in peace. They went to the Netherlands and then on to the New World(America). I also talked about the hardships that they went through and what happened to them in the end. I enjoyed doing this project because I got to learn more about the Pilgrims. I am excited for the next projects that my class and I will get to do.

My Bible Project: Genesis 39

My class and I did a Bible project on Genesis 39. We were to make and present a TV News Cast. We could either do it live or on a video. We also worked with a partner. Our teacher wrote all of our names down on little pieces of paper and had a few of us choose one. That is how we decided who was going to work with who. My partner and I chose to do a video instead of doing it live. Our project was on Joseph and how the warden of the prison put him in charge. I was the reporter and he was the prison warden. We also had a few of the Elementary students help us out with our project. They were more than happy to help. In our video, I go back in time. I asked a question and my partner would think about it and then answer.

It was a really fun way to learn about Joseph and I am looking forward to the next video we will do.

My First Classroom Presentation of the School Year

This year, my class and I are learning about American History and what led up to it becoming a country. We all chose to do a project on a subject that interested us the most in Chapter One. I worked with a partner on our project. Our project was about the “Spanish Conquerors.”

We started by drawing out a plan to help us keep our information straight. We then started our project by using “Keynote.”  I started putting the information on our project while my partner helped by finding more information, pictures, and videos. He helped a lot with finding more information on “Life in the Spanish Colonies.” Our book didn’t quite give enough information for our project, so he was a huge help in finding more about the colonies.

Overall, I enjoyed working with my partner on our project and I am looking forward to the next project that my class and I will be doing.
